What is your issue?
The installation failed / The uninstaller failed
The issue is due to the technology I'm using to develop the app: Overwolf. Please follow the instructions on this page. If this does not work, please fill this form https://support.overwolf.com/support/tickets/new. Thanks!
The desktop app screen is empty and the loading spinner is constantly spinning / The pictures do not appear
If the desktop app looks like one of the two following pictures:


This happens when your app cannot reach the porofessor servers. This can be created by your antivirus (if you have one), firewall (if you have one), parental control filter (if you have one on your pc or on your connection). Try to disable those to see if it changes something .
If it does not, this may be linked to a misconfiguration of your connection.
To fix this, open the command prompt program on your PC and enter the following:
- "nslookup porofessor.gg" (without the quotes) and then press enter.
- "nslookup www.leagueofgraphs.com" (without the quotes) and then press enter.
If 37.187.230.190 did appear two times (and ONLY IN THIS CASE), then open your start menu.
Find the notepad program and then right-click -> Run as administrator. Then, in the notepad program, click on File -> Open a File.
Then, in the input field at the bottom of this open file windows, alongside the "filename", enter "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts".
In this file, remove all the lines which contain cdn2.porofessor.gg or lolg-cdn.porofessor.gg
Then, at the end of the file, add a new line, "104.31.71.28 cdn2.porofessor.gg" (without the quotes).
Then do the same on another new line with "104.31.71.28 lolg-cdn.porofessor.gg" (without the quotes). Then save the file
When this is done, reboot your PC
The displayed content looks weird in the desktop app (weird lines in content / blurry content) / My mouse cursor disappears
This is most likely due to a setting called "Hardware Acceleration".
This can be fixed very easily by disabling the Hardware Acceleration option in Overwolf. To do so, download this file HardwareAccelerationOverwolf.reg, then run it and then reboot your pc
While ingame, I have an error message with a sad poro picture

This can happen for multiple reasons:
- Riot servers are having issue. If so please contact me if the issue does not fix by itself by 24h.
- The Porofessor servers are down. In that case, please wait for a few hours and try again
- You are playing on a Garena server. Garena servers are not supported and probably never will :( Sorry.
- You are playing in an unsupported game mode. (Practice mode / Coop vs AI)
- You are playing on PBE. PBE server is not supported and probably never will :( Sorry.
I have lol launched but Porofessor does not log me in
- Are you playing on Garena ? If so, Garena is not supported, sorry.
- Do you have one of the following software installed on your pc : CryptoCSP, ViPNet CSP, ViPNet Local Signature Service ? If so, please uninstall them, as they may be the cause of this issue
- Otherwise, uninstall Overwolf (make sure you close Overwolf in the taskbar alongside the clock first) and then reinstall Porofessor from https://porofessor.gg/download
- If this does not solve the issue, please try uninstalling lol completely from your pc and then reinstalling it. In some rare cases, some of the lol components installed on the pc are outdated and preventing the communication between the app and LoL
I start a replay/live game and it stays on a black screen / it doesn't start
Please make sure your LoL installation is up to date. If you have multiple lol installations on your PC, please make sure that all of them are up to date.
Porofessor does not appear in champion select
- Are you playing on Garena ? If so, Garena is not supported, sorry.
- Do you have one of the following software installed on your pc : CryptoCSP, ViPNet CSP, ViPNet Local Signature Service ? If so, please uninstall them, as they may be the cause of this issue
- Please check the porofessor settings and check that champ select is not disabled
- If you have one screen: please take a screenshot of your screen using the PrintScreen button on your keyboard, and then ctrl+v into paint. If you see two times your screen, it means that for some reason you pc thinks there are two screens. Please fix this.
- Otherwise, uninstall Overwolf (make sure you close Overwolf in the taskbar alongside the clock first) and then reinstall Porofessor from https://porofessor.gg/download
The ad is too big an overrides the content / the content is too big for the window
This issue is often due to a misconfiguration of your screen. Go to the Windows Settings -> Accessibility options. The first slider should be at minimum like this:
If this does reduce the zoom on your screen too much, go then to your screen settings and adjust the zoom percentage there.

- As much details as possible on the issue you are having
- Your region and summoner name
- The country you live in
- The logs file created by the app (go to the app settings -> create logs zip and send me the created file)
- The number of monitors you have, their resolution and the scaling percentage (you can find that in the Windows settings)
- Are you playing lol in fullscreen, borderless or windowed ?
- The game mode you are playing when the issue occurs (if it happens during the game)
- When did you install the app / when did the issue start to happen / when did it happen last ?
- Did you have overwolf previously installed on your PC ? If so, when did you install it (an approximate date is ok)?
- A screenshot of the issue (if possible)
If you don't send me the answers to all those questions, I will just ignore you and I will not help you!
